Cortland, OH:   Jake Young, a Lakeview High School Senior soccer player, has signed to continue his soccer career at Holy Cross for this coming fall.
During the 2012 season, Jake was named First Team All-AAC and also First Team All-Ohio. He finished the season with 20 goals and 15 assists.  He was a member of two league championship teams and two District championship squads.
After moving into the district from the state of Michigan during his Sophomore season, Jake was key cog on the last two Lakeview High School soccer teams.  The 2011 Bulldogs defeated Cardinal Mooney 3-0 in the Division II District Championship match and advanced to face Richfield Revere in the OHSAA Regional Semi-finals. In 2012, the Bulldogs once again defeated Cardinal Mooney for the Division II District Championship.  That squad was upended by CVCA in the Regional Semi-finals.
