Fitch Boys Shut Out Springfield

Fitch’s baseball team shut out Springfield on Wednesday, 6-0.

The Falcons’ Zack Miller went 2-3 with a double and two RBI.  Tony Adams was 2-2 with one run scored.  Ronny Sayers recorded the win for Fitch, allowing no runs on four hits in five innings.  He walked two and struck out three.  Kevin Miller pitched two scoreless as well, giving up one hit and striking out two batters.

Sawyer Stevens was the losing pitcher of record for the Falcons.  He gave up five runs, off eight hits in five innings.  Stevens walked six and struck out four.  Eoghan Bees led the way for the Tigers at the plate, going 2-2.  Jojo Caraballo went 1-1.
