The Ohio Military Reserve is looking for new recruits, so if you’re looking for a career change and want to try something completely different, they will be holding two open houses next weekend.

The Ohio Military Reserve works with the Ohio National Guard.

An open house will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 18 and 19 at the Alliance Ohio National Guard Armory, 1175 W. Vine St. in Alliance.

Also next weekend, a “Motorcycle Run to the Monument” will be held May 18 at Century Harley-Davidson in Medina. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. and the run ends at noon. There is a $20 donation per motorcycle, with all proceeds benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project.
