Poland Students Trot the Globe for Information

An international affair, complete with food, costumes and cultural displays, was held Friday at  McKinley Elementary in Poland.

Sixth-grade students showed off what they learned from an in-depth study of different cultures in Africa, Asia, Europe and Central and South America.

The event is all party of Nationality Day where students are instructed to research the customs, food and political culture of each region. Their research also included personal interviews.
