A car driving the wrong way on state Route 7-11 connector crashed Saturday, shutting down the northbound lanes for more than two hours.
Traffic was backed up while crews worked to clear the scene.
Police said a man entered the highway on the exit ramp, swerved to miss one car, but hit a second car, then crashed into the median.
He was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center where he is listed in stable condition. His name isn’t being released at this time.
No one else involved in the crash was hurt.
All lanes of the 7-11 connector are now open.
The crash is under investigation.
