Great music, art, food and beer were sampled Saturday in downtown Warren.
Main Street Warren hosted a free festival in David Grohl Alley. Live music and artwork from Trumbull Art Gallery was on display for the crowds to enjoy.
The main attraction, the unveiling of the new Grohl Alley Brew and Grohl Alley Burger. Created by Courthouse Grille, the burger includes bacon, mushrooms, french-fried onions, A-1 steak sauce and a secret ingredient.
“I always made a horseradish mayonnaise, because I started out working at a prime rib restaurant, so horseradish was always a thing that went well with steak, and I wanted to make it kind of like a steak burger,” said Katie Badanjk, creator of the burger.
The alley, burger and beer were all named for Warren-native David Grohl, of Nirvana and Foo Fighters fame.
Dave couldn’t be there Saturday night, but his father James, who still lives in Warren, was there enjoying the fest.
