Mercer County Barn Catches Fire

A barn in Mercer County was totally destroyed by fire on Sunday, and some of the animals inside were unable to make it out alive.

Some 100 turkey chicks and 100 pheasant chicks died in the barn that caught fire at about 5 p.m. Sunday.

Firefighters were able to save three pigs.
