Reserve Hands Columbiana First ITCL Loss

Western Reserve's April Lude

Western Reserve handed Columbiana its first ITCL loss with a 10-5 win on Monday.

April Lude led the Blue Devils with a pair of home runs and three RBIs. Gabby and Jenny Stubbs and Brittney Lude each drove in a pair of runs in the victory, with a double apiece. Marley Oles tallied two doubles with an RBI in the win.

Khylea Fullum led Columbiana with a home run and a double in the setback.

Western Reserve remains unbeaten in league play with a record of 13-0 and 20-2 overall. Columbiana drops to 18-7 overall and 12-1 in ITCL play.

These two teams will face off again on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. A Reserve victory clinches the ITCL crown outright. A Columbiana win earns the Clippers a share of the ITCL title.
