Struthers Wins in Extra Innings
The Wildcats celebrate a walk off win.

The Wildcats defeated West Branch, 5-4, in eight innings.

The Warriors took an early lead when Jerian Thomas ripped a triple to center field scoring a run, making it 1-0 in the top of the first. Brenden Wells had quite a day, going 3-3 with a double, triple, and a single to go along with two walks. Wells batted in the third run of the game putting West Branch up 3-0.

Struthers would come roaring back in the fifth inning. Gary Muntean would pull the Wildcats to within a run when he hit a blooper to left and scored two runs on the play, making it 4-3. After Struthers tied it up at four in the fifth inning, the game would go to extra innings.

In the bottom of the eighth Kolton Rudzik would score on a passed ball to win the game.
