Kids Get Banking Lessons in Youngstown

Youngstown elementary students got some hands-on lessons from banking experts.

Twenty-one employees from Huntington Bank were at Williamson Elementary on Thursday for the “JA for a Day” program.

The volunteers used lessons developed by Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley, stressing business knowledge.

The “substitute” teachers talked to more than 300 students about finances and how to be smart about money.
