One person suffered injuries in a tractor accident Friday in Columbiana County.

Goshen Township police said a person was run over by a tractor after their seat broke and fell to the ground at about 11:30 a.m. at a farm on Lisbon Road.

Fire officials said the farmer was run over by the cultipacker. The machine continued through the field and across Lisbon Road before hitting a telephone pole.

They were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center with serious injuries.
