Mannozzi is training for the 16th annual Pan American Race Walking Cup. He will face some of the top ranked competitors in the world.
Mannozzi says the altitude of the event will be the biggest factor.
“My game plan is to start out with what I know I’m capable of,” Mannozzi said. “I would say that’s a 90% effort. What I will do is really try to put the cards on the table the second half.”
Mannozzi’s race in Guatemala is a week from Saturday.
