New Trail Dedicated in Trumbull County

There is a new place to take in the wonders of nature in Trumbull County.

On Friday, a ribbon cutting ceremony on the new walking trail at the Thomas A. Swift MetroPark in Leavisttsburg was held.

The trail is dedicated in memory of Trumbull County Probate Judge Thomas Swift’s son Ethan, who died about 10 years ago.

The mulch trail is about a half-mile in length. Swift said his son would have loved to come here.

“He not only loved the outdoors, he loved people and as I mentioned this location for the citizens of Trumbull County, it’s a nice place to come and think and reflect on your loved ones,” Swift said.
