Meanwhile, approximately 20 miles down Route 224 authorities in Mahoning County are looking for Attorney John Schoenike of Springfield Township.

Schoenike’s car was found on Friday on West Blvd. He hasn’t been seen since Friday morning.

Police in Mahoning County said they were not aware of any connection between the two missing men.

The Portage County Sheriff’s Department is handling the Hathaway case. The Springfield Township Police Department is handling the Schoenike case.
