Bar Crawl to Benefit Sojourner House

Hundreds shuffled along South Avenue Saturday night in the annual bar crawl to benefit local charity.

Tickets were$ 25 per person for participants to get food and drinks at several bars on the South Side of Youngstown.

There was also a 50/50 raffle to raise extra money.

Some shufflers look forward to participating in the event every year.

I think it’s pretty amazing. It goes for Toys for Tots in December, it goes for Autism, cancer, any kind of benefit that can help someone is a good benefit to be a part of,” said participant Amanda Perry.

All proceeds this year will benefit the Sojourner House.

This is the 12th year for event.
