Copeland Oaks in Sebring is celebrating 50 years in business and with that they are starting a new cultural series.
Former Youngstown State University and Ohio State University head football coach Jim Tressel was the first keynote speaker Saturday night.
Tickets sold out for the inaugural event.
Tressel has never been to the retirement community but said it’s always good to be back in the Valley.
“I have a dear friend named Don Swegan who was a mentor of mine growing up who gave me the kind invitation to come and visit with the good folks,” said Tressel.
The event benefited the Copeland Care Fund.
