A colorful celebration was held Sunday at Saint Patrick’s Church in Youngstown for the Feast of Pentecost and the Blessed Mother.
Church members released a rosary made completely out of balloon.
The Director of Faith Formation at the church said the hope is that their prayers go to heaven. Before launching the rosary, church members said the rosary and prayed.
St. Patrick’s wanted to the event to be interactive for church members
“This is people off all ages,” said Kris Harper, Director of Faith Formation. “This is called Generation of Faith, and it encompasses very young people, but also people who are more mature.”
This was the church’s first time doing the rosary balloon release.
