A vigilant neighbor helped police arrest a man suspected in several Mercer County burglaries.

Pennsylvania State Police said a neighbor noticed a possible burglary at a home on Centertown Road in Pine Township Friday evening. Troopers responded to the area and caught the accused burglar when he attempted to flee the house.

The police report stated, Joel Walker of Grove City, provided details of the burglary and of several more in the area, which included the theft of scrap and power tools.

Walker is being held in the Mercer County jail on a $50,000 bond.
