Pa. duo charged with supplying heroin in overdose

DONORA, Pa. (AP) — A southwestern Pennsylvania duo has been jailed on charges they sold the heroin that led to the overdose death of a 55-year-old man.

Online court records don’t list attorneys for 21-year-old James Darnell Foster and 30-year-old Maya Lawson. The Donora residents remained jailed Monday and face charges including drug delivery resulting in death at a preliminary hearing May 30.

Police say they linked the suspects to the death of 55-year-old Barry Daube, of Carroll Township based on numbers they found had been dialed from the man’s cell phone before he died on Friday.

Daube’s friend had previously told police he drove Daube to by the drugs after Daube first called his dealers that evening.
