Gift Awarded to D & E Counseling

The Ronald McDonald House made a donation Wednesday to a program for kids with emotional and behavior problems.

The organization gave a $1,000 gift to D & E Counseling Center for its Camp Challenge Program for kids with serious emotional disabilities who are struggling in school.

The money will be used to help restock the Good Behavior Store at Camp Challenge with games and toys. The kids can earn good-behavior points to buy items in the store.

“We’re just very fortunate to have benefactors like Ronald McDonald House and others that make it possible for us to preserve this program,” said Executive Director Greg Cvetkovic, D & E Counseling.

This is the first year D & E Counseling has worked with the Ronald McDonald House.
