Central Ohio crash closes part of I-70

KIRKERSVILLE, Ohio (AP) — A chain-reaction crash overnight involving three tractor-trailer trucks and a pickup truck on Interstate 70 in central Ohio killed one man and was snarling morning traffic.

A section of eastbound I-70 in Licking County, east of Columbus, was closed after the 12:30 a.m. crash, and the State Highway Patrol expected it to be shut down through the morning rush.

The patrol said a man in the pickup truck was killed when the vehicle was hit by a tractor-trailer from behind and pushed into another one in front. His name was not released.

Drivers of two of the big trucks were taken to a hospital.
