3 Killed in Western Pa. Crash

JAMES CITY, Pa. (AP) – State police have identified a driver and two passengers who were killed when their car crossed the center line of a northwestern Pennsylvania highway and hit another vehicle.

Troopers from Ridgway say the driver, 33-year-old Robert Higginbotham, was thrown from the car he was driving, which rolled after hitting the oncoming vehicle on Route 66 in Highland Township.

Higginbotham’s passengers were trapped the wreckage and also died. They have been identified as 33-year-old Clyde Nelson II and 36-year-old Delores Woodall. All three victims lived in Kane.

Police were continuing to investigate the crash which happened about 9:15 p.m. Thursday.

The driver of the second vehicle wasn’t hurt. Police identified him as Larry Saline Jr., of Johnsonburg.
