A bit of Florida flare has come to a Niles business.

The Havana House, located in the Great East Plaza of the Eastwood Mall Complex, debuted its colorful displays of art Friday night.

Owner Tony Bellatto is transforming his cigar store into a Wynnwood Cigar Lounge. He said Wynnwood is an art district in Miami, and he wanted to incorporate some of it into his place.

Artists, including one from Florida, were on hand Friday painting murals in the lounge. The cigar lounge will continue to feature artwork by local artists and beer and wine will be served.

An art auction was also held, with proceeds going to the Purple Cat.

Bellatto said Havana House has been in Niles for several years, and his father has operated Havana House in Boardman for 38 years.
