A Warren man accused of stomping his ex-girlfriend’s father to death will be held in the Trumbull County Jail on $1 million bond until his case is resolved.
Jarred D. Watson, 28, pleaded not guilty Friday to two different kinds of murder charges and a felonious assault charge at his arraignment in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.
Watson is scheduled for a pretrial hearing June 6.
Watson is accused of killing George Myers, 57, in the backyard of Myers’ 148 Dickey Ave. N.W. home.
Police said it appeared he died from being beaten to death with a blunt object and may have been stomped to death. Trumbull County Coroner Dr. Humphrey Germanuik ruled the death a homicide said Myers died of multiple blunt force traumatic injuries.
