Springfield Returns to Regionals

Springfield is making a return trip to Regionals after outlasting McDonald 10-6 in the Division IV District Championship on Friday.

The Tigers have now been to Regionals five out of the last six years.

Dalton Donachie struck out five batters in the win for the Tigers.

Joey Wrask went drove in two runs and went 2-4 in the win.

Brandon Chamberlain went 2-4 with two runs scored, while Jojo Caraballo went 1-2 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Springfield advances to face Seneca East Thursday at 5:30 pm at Copley High School.
