Employee Dies After Being Pinned Between 2 Trucks

EMPLOYEE DIES AFTER ACCIDENT
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday in the loading dock at the Lowe's store on West State Street in New Castle.

One person died after an accident at a home improvement store in Lawrence County.

The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday in the loading dock at the Lowe’s store on West State Street in New Castle.

Joseph Nogee, 31, was unloading a truck when he was pinned between two trucks. A representative from the Lawrence County Coroner’s Office said the cause of death was a crushing injury to the abdomen.

It has been ruled an accidental death.
