If you’re heading to the River Rock at the Amp Summer Concert Series anytime this year, be ready for more security.

Two bands took the stage Saturday night for the first outdoor concert of the summer.

Trumbull County Sheriff’s Deputies checked bags and confiscated certain items.

There are now certain items that will no longer be allowed inside the Warren venue.

“We’re just checking the gates more, we’re making sure there’s no duffel bags, no backpacks, just being proactive instead of reactive,” said Ken Haidaris.

There will be ten more concerts this summer. The last one will be on August 24th.
