Jackson Milton Bows Out in Regional Semis

Jackson Milton’s softball team lost to Colonel Crawford in the Division IV Regional Semifinals on Thursday afternoon. The final score was 2-1.

The Blue Jays scored in the 1st inning on a passed ball but couldn’t muster any more runs the remainder of the game.

Crawford tied the game in the 3rd on an RBI double and took the lead in the 5th on a passed ball.

Jackson Milton had runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the 7th with one out but struck out with the final two batters to end the game.

Paige Kiraly had 7Ks for the Blue Jays who finish their season at 22-8.

Crawford advances to play Mathews on Saturday at 12 p.m. at Kent State University.
