Springfield’s Wrask Hits Grand Slam, Tigers Move On

Joey Wrask’s grand slam led Springfield to a 6-0 victory over Seneca East in the Division IV Regional Semifinals.

Wrask hit the grand slam in the 3rd inning, breaking open a scoreless ball game.

Dalton Donachie pitched a complete game shutout for the Tigers, striking out three.

Springfield advances to the finals, where they’ll face Cuyahoga Heights. First pitch is Friday at 5:00 p.m. at Copley High School.
