Explosion reported at Pa. fragrance factory

EASTON, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say two people are hurt after an explosion at a fragrance company in eastern Pennsylvania.

Dispatchers say it happened at the Ungerer and Co. facility in Hanover Township shortly before 10 a.m. Friday. Hanover Township manager Jay Finnigan tells The Express-Times of Easton (http://bit.ly/12mnVOP ) that two employees were taken to hospitals for treatment. He says their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Firefighters and a hazmat team are on the scene.

A message has been left for a company spokeswoman.
