Brookfield officials have invited local business owners to attend a meeting with “key players” in the area’s economic development to discuss possibilities surrounding three unnamed businesses looking to bring their business to Trumbull County.

A letter from Brookfield Township Board of Trustees Chairman Gary Lees to area businesses invited owners to a meeting June 10 with local officials, including Western Reserve Port Authority Economic Director Rose Ann DeLeon, to discuss possibilities.

“We feel it would be very beneficial to you and we would be glad if you or a representative from your company could attend to learn what these companies have to offer our area, what we have to offer them, and how we can work together to get them here,” the letter says.

The letter says three business are looking to come to the area. They said a “foreign industrial company,” an “assembly operation company” and a “foreign manufacturing company” are all looking to relocate to the area.
