The Habitat Restore in Columbiana County has moved to a larger building, more than twice as large than the previous store.

Workers are putting the finishing touches on the new location for the Northern Columbiana County Habitat Restore, at the old Patterson Dodge dealership on Ellsworth Avenue in Salem.

The former location, on Pigeon Road in Salem, was 6,000 square feet. The new building is 13,000 square feet.

The store has not opened yet, but managers said it’s already filled.

“This Restore has been in operation for four years,” said manager Chaney Nezbeth. “This is our third location. The donations keep coming in, and it’s just amazing every single day the things that we can get.”

The store managers are hoping to have the grand-opening in about two weeks.
