Pro Football Hall of Fame debuts museum expansion

CANTON, Ohio (AP) — Visitors will now be able to see the latest expansion and additions to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton.

The two-year, $27 million project is the most ambitious renovation in the museum’s 50-year history. A grand opening ceremony is set for 11 a.m. Saturday outside its new entrance.

The Repository ( ) reports that Hall of Famer Joe Namath is joining executives and local and state officials at the event.

Enhancements include 37,000 square feet of renovated space, part of more than 100,000 square feet total at the museum, and new exhibition galleries.

Admission to the museum is $22 for adults, $18 for age 62 and older, and $16 for children 6 six to 12. Kids under 6 are free.
