Volunteers from across Youngstown got their hands dirty in an effort to beautify the city.

Streetscape 2013 kicked off on Saturday and now, in it’s 16th year, volunteers worked together to clean up and plant flowers and shrubs downtown.

Several dozen volunteers focused replanting near City Hall, Wick Park and West Federal Street.

The work spread out from downtown Youngstown with other neighborhood associations also sprucing up their parts of town.
