Youngstown firefighters were busy Tuesday morning working to control a vacant house fire on the city’s South Side.

Crews were called to the structure on East Boston Avenue around 1:30 a.m. When they arrived, flames were shooting out of the roof.

It is believed the fire started on the second floor.

A cause has not been determined.
