Beaver County community college seeks president

BEAVER, Pa. (AP) — The Community College of Beaver County is looking for a new president, and a Washington, D.C. firm will be paid $48,000 to lead the search.

The Beaver County Times ( ) reports that college trustees voted unanimously Tuesday night to retain R.H. Perry & Associates, an executive search firm specializing in higher education.

College President Joe Forrest announced last month that he will retire in June 2014.

Trustees say the cost of the search will likely go higher because there will be other expenses such as travel and advertising.
