W. Pa. man facing trial in dump truck accidents

ERIE, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania man is facing trial on multiple criminal charges related to a rampage with a dump truck.

The Erie Times-News (http://bit.ly/12smfTT ) reports that 42-year-old Sean A. Dibble of Erie waived a preliminary hearing Tuesday over the Feb. 16 events.

Dibble allegedly took a dump truck from a residence and hit one car there, then rammed another car, and finally drove the truck into the entrance of a hotel lobby.

Police say Dibble got out of the truck, walked into the hotel and asked for a woman before he ran off. No injuries were reported.

Dibble is charged with driving under the influence, trespass by a motor vehicle, reckless driving and other charges.

Dibble couldn’t be located for comment.
