A Warren dentist is facing felony charges for selling prescription painkillers.

Mark P. Jones, 48, of Cortland, pleaded not guilty Friday to 15 counts of third-degree felony aggravated drug trafficking. He was secretly indicted by a Trumbull County grand jury on Thursday.

Bond was set at $10,000 and he is scheduled for a pretrial hearing June 17.

Jones owns Gentle Family Dentistry on East Market Street in Howland.

The case was investigated by the Ohio Board of Dentistry and the Trumbull-Ashtabula Group Law Enforcement Task Force. Investigators said Jones was trafficking the painkiller Oxycodone between March and December of 2011.
