Storm brings heavy rain to parts of Pa.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Small streams and creeks in southeastern Pennsylvania are flooding as remnants of Tropical Storm Andrea move through the region.

The National Weather Service says the Neshaminy Creek and Little Neshaminy Creek in Bucks County are over their banks, while the Wissahickon Creek in Fort Washington and Philadelphia and Crum Creek in Newtown Square are above flood stage.

Minor flooding is expected overnight along the east branch of the Brandywine Creek below Downingtown.

The weather service issued a flood warning and flash flood watch and says the region could get another inch or two of rain by Saturday morning.
