WILLOW STREET, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in central Pennsylvania have released the names of two men killed in the crash of a minivan in Lancaster County.

Police said the vehicle went out of control shortly before 12:30 p.m. Friday in Pequea Township, hit a median strip guardrail and flipped over.

Authorities said 54-year-old Ronald Wood of Holtwood was thrown from the minivan and later pronounced dead at Lancaster General Hospital.

Southern Regional Police Chief John Fiorill said 42-year-old Gideon Zook of Holtwood was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fiorill told the (Lancaster) Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era (http://bit.ly/15XnqIL ) that speed, heavy rain and wet road conditions were factors in the crash.
