The fur was flying Saturday at an animal education center in Columbiana County.

Forever Safe Farm Animal Education Center prepared its animals for the summer months.

Workers at the farm were shearing Llamas of their winter fiber and trimming the teeth of Alpacas so the animals receive proper nutrition when eating. The education center offers public tours of the facilities and also conservation classes for children.

They care for a wide range of animals including pigs, camels, wallabies and many more.
