Salem Businesses Damaged by Gunfire

Several downtown Salem businesses were damaged by gunfire overnight into Saturday morning.

Damage was done to several of the windows along East State Street.

Police said just before 3 a.m. Saturday they received a report of gun shots in the area.

Police officers found several windows damaged by what they believe is a low-caliber gun.

No one was injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call Salem Police.
