A three-car crash at the intersection of Mahoning Avenue and State Route 46 sent one person to the hospital.
The crash happened around 10:40 Sunday night.
The State Highway Patrol initially said the crash may have caused power outages in Austintown and several surrounding communities, but it was later determined that wasn’t the case.
A spokesperson from Ohio Edison said a tree fell on a line causing outages around 10:43 Sunday night. About 2,700 customers, mostly in the Austintown area, were affected. The power company said electricity was restored to those customers around 11:44 Sunday night.
