Falling Tree Caused Power Problems for Thousands

A power line came down on the Ohio Turnpike in Beaver Township, Ohio.

A short power outage affected thousands Sunday night.

A spokesperson from Ohio Edison said a tree fell on a line causing outages around 10:43 p.m.

About 2,700 customers in the communities of Austintown, Mineral Ridge and North Jackson were affected.

Ohio Edison said electricity was restored to those customers around 11:44 p.m.
