Tornado reported in Md., homes damaged in Del.

BALTIMORE (AP) — The National Weather Service says a tornado has been reported in Maryland.

A fire official in Howard County, west of Baltimore, reports high winds destroyed a building and detached garage were destroyed.

Flooding has been reported on several streets in Baltimore,

Meanwhile, The News Journal in Wilmington, Del. reports that homes in Newark and Glasgow, Del., have been damaged and numerous trees downed by the storm system.

Delmarva Power reports that about 2,800 customers were without power in in Cecil County, Md. Monday night.
