Police: Pa. man nabbed amid naked run through town

POTTSTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Police say a man ran naked through a southeastern Pennsylvania town last weekend, allegedly chasing women and punching men.

The Pottstown Mercury says (http://bit.ly/11tgC0o ) neighbors believe 34-year-old Marcus Cross was high on PCP during the incident.

A town resident, who said he saw the naked man chasing a woman, approached Cross with a holstered gun, and Cross punched him in the face. Then another man approached, and Cross punched him as well.

One woman told police she had to pull Cross out of her home after he had run in naked and jumped into bed with another woman who lives there.

Cross was arrested after the incident, arraigned and sent to county jail. He faces several charges, including two counts of simple assault and one of open lewdness.
