Summer career camp is in session at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center this week.
Middle school student campers attended the kick-off day of the themed camp on Wednesday.
The three-day camp is for sixth through eighth graders students. More than 100 campers are expected to attend the sessions.
Other themes for the camp include engineering, auto collision, exercise science, engineering, early childhood, and forensic science.
“I just think it’s cool how you get to figure out what happened to them, why they died, why they went missing,” said Forensic Science Camper Delaney Baber.
Each camp focused on a particular field and includes fun, hands-on educational activities.
