Mercer, Lawrence Residents Can Recycle Electronics

Residents of Mercer and Lawrence counties will be able to recycle electronics year round.

There will be one site in New Castle and on about 1.2 miles north of Mercer.

The following items will be accepted for free:

Televisions (all types and sizes)

Computers and their peripherals (towers, monitors, scanners, mice, keyboards, speakers)

Cell Phones

All other small electronics can be recycled for just $1 each.  Examples include:

VCRs and DVD Players

CD & Tape Players


Sweepers & Vacuums


Telephones & Phone Systems


This program is open to all residents regardless of municipality or county.  Participation will be limited to the first 50 registrants at each site – due to our storage limitations.  After registering, you will receive your appointment time, the exact location of the event, and directions to the site.
