After an all day search Sunday, rescue teams could not locate a man believed to have drowned in Pymatuning Lake.

Pymatuning State Park police said they are looking for a 48-year old man from the Pittsburgh area. The man was last seen around 6 p.m. Saturday jumping off a rented pontoon boat.

Witnesses on the boat told police the victim had jumped into the water to help a woman get back on the boat, he then went underwater and never resurfaced.

Police are unsure if the man was wearing a life jacket.

Divers searched the lake Saturday, and boats with sonar technology searched Sunday.

Police said search efforts will continue until a recovery is made.
