The kidnapping attempt happened around 8:30 p.m. Saturday on Line Street in Perry Township, Lawrence County.

A 6-year old boy was playing on his swing set when an unknown man tried to talk to him.  As the boy ran towards the house, the suspect grabbed him, but the boy got away.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s, 5’9″ with a medium build, light colored hair and a beard. The man also has a skeleton tattoo on his forearm. He was wearing shorts and a red and black or red and white t-shirt.
